STRATEGIC PLAN (2019-2023)

INTRODUCTION

The relevant information, which was prepared by the State Planning Organization and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette. According to the regulation, the first Strategic Plan of our Faculty was prepared in 2006 for the period of 2009-2013. This plan has been a guide in terms of forming the basis of our Faculty's priorities and preferences. The second Strategic Plan of the Faculty belongs to the period of 2014-2018 and it was prepared by the Strategic Planning Coordinator, the Strategic Planning Team formed in 2012 as well as the Dean of the Faculty. 2019-2023 Period the third Strategic Plan, pursuant to Article 9 of the Public Financial Management and Control Law No. 5018 has been prepared in line with the “Strategic Planning Guide for Universities”. Considering in detail the strategic priorities determined for our faculty along with changing conditions, it is very important in terms of being able to adapt to the needs. Thus, it will be possible to identify and correct the deficiencies and to distinguish superior features of our Faculty. The aim of the Faculty is to achieve success in accordance with world standards in education and research. The number of qualified instructors, the foreign language levels of our students, scholarship opportunities, and social environment conditions need to be improved. The quality of graduate programs is very important to generate the future academic staff of our Faculty and contribution to the pharmaceutical sciences. Further improvement of pharmacy education will result in a better state of drug R&D activities, which will help us reach higher levels. Strengthening our research infrastructure, which is actually in a very good condition, will facilitate research and publications of high quality and impact. Therefore, all kinds of support and encouragement are needed. Our goals for the future and what we need to do in order to reach these goals are explained in 2019-2023 Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan of our Faculty was prepared by the Strategic Planning Team, where all the academic staff of the Faculty also made contributions. I would like to express my sincere thanks to our Faculty members and all others, who have contributed to the Strategic Plan of our Faculty, which will support us, when it is put into practice.
